Empowering the girl child.

This is Jackyline Munezero, aged 17, a total orphan living with her two brothers; Gideon and Emmanuel. She dropped out of school in 2009 after completing her P6. When FALCCO first met this family, they had an elder sister who tried to assist in taking care of them. However, recently she got married and left for Kampala. Their elder brother now has to struggle taking care of them using his meagre income from boda-boda riding. We soon realized that if nothing is done to give Jacky a skill for self sustainability, she may end up in an early and unwanted marriage with its accompanying problems.
FALCCO has decided to enroll her for a tailoring course.
This is part of our commitment to DEVELOP THE CHILD, EMPOWER THE HOUSEHOLD, TRANSFORM THE COMMUNITY.  You may want to join us to provide vocational training to Jacky, assist the family with domestic recquirements every month, and ultimately transform and empower them to be community changers.
