ABOUT US

Falcco was formed in July 2009 as a response to a burden to spiritually and socioeconomically transform the rural communities of Africa. While doing pastoral work in Kisoro district, south-western Uganda, the founder, Pr Nathan Kaija, felt deeply moved by the plight of children who are suffering the consequences of poverty, HIV/AIDS and the absence of parental love and care.
He took a step and shared the burden with 8 friends who were quick to capture it. Despite being ordinary Ugandans with humble jobs (check BOARD page), the team pressed on to institutionalize their activities. They registered children and begun to give monthly gifts to their families from their own savings.
Presently( Nov 2015) we have 21 sponsored children and we are still seeking sponsors for the rest (see SPONSORSHIP page)
We contribute to school fees, offer scholastic materials and engage in activities that foster the spiritual, cognitive, physical and social development of the children. We also aim to economically empower each household by providing income generation initiatives for them.

Our conviction is that where there is LOVE and COMPASSION, there is a way!
Children are indeed the future of our society but it hurts to see how much they are neglected at home and in the community. Nelson Mandela, the late South African independence icon, is quoted to have said 'There is no keener revelation of the soul of any society than in the way it treats its children'. We at FALCCO totally agree with Mandela!
Together we can make a big difference, developing and transforming them one at a time.

If this is your passion too, please consider joining us in partnership financially and morally.
More details of that are on the pages on DONATIONS and SPONSORSHIP.
