Setting the stage for a better 2017
This is one of our centre days with the children recently. We were helping them with revision, assisted by some trained primary school teachers who volunteer with us. We aim to make this year unique. We target to ensure improvements in their studies, invest more in household income generating projects and give life skills to the children. Pray for our 4 children that will be sitting for their primary leaving examinations at the end of this year: Richard Manirinde, Godson Nsabimana, Kadiya Nyirandashimye and Berina Mujawimana. Next year they should be joining secondary school. This will be a major milestone in our work because most of them would have dropped out of school if it had not been for the support of our sponsors and partners.

CHRISTMAS 2016 FALCO STYLE
This christmas holiday and new year will remain deeply stamped in the minds of the more than 70 children that we hosted for a Christmas festival and new year party. It was the first of its kind. We normally have a smaller function but this time we invited all the registered but unsponsored children numbering more than 70. Below are the stories of the different highlights and activities which include games, bible classes, refreshments, baloons, games.......and....the best part of it that the children are still talking about in their villages: CAKE!
It is clear that it was the first time for many of these children to taste a delicious cake like the one that was served them. Snacks, candies and things of that sort are never a part of their diet...not even on Christmas, unless someone else brings them.
We hope to keep expanding our Christmas celebrations and make them celebrations for children in the community as a whole. The parents have been full of thanks because of the stories that the children told them.
Many thanks to all our sponsors and friends who are bringing a new smile on the faces of these children!
Pray with us that these many children who are unsponsored will be able to get sponsors this year so that we may support them fully with their education, medical and help their families out of extreme poverty. You may also talk to your friends, workmates, neighbours or relatives about sponsoring a child with a monthly contribution of $30. Lets join hands to make this world a better place for these innocent souls. We look forward to hearing from you!

We first introduced the children to the reason for the season...Jesus Christ the baby and messiah.

We divided ourselves into different groups according to age and class and different teachers taught the various groups valuable lessons from the Christmas story.
