AROUND OUR HOMES

We moved around visiting homes of our families a few weeks ago and caught up with our children in different settings. Its holiday time and the children are home helping out with chores at home like grazing animals, fetching water, cleaning around, and the girls get to learn to cook for the family. Here we bring you two girls in the kitchen: Violet Irankunda and Kadiya Nyirandashimye. Most families use firewood to cook. They sit the sauce pan of food on 3 stones and light fire underneath them. We also visited Agnes Musabyimana and had a chat with her...and a prayer. We also bring you Adrine Mbabazi playing with her friends.

We normally encourage them during our visits and monitor, among other things, their relationship with parents and other family members. Many times the parents will request for our help in counseling and guiding their children at different stages of their development. We do that and engage our volunteer counselor when need arises for professional help.
