MIRIAM CYIMPAYE GRANDIE

As seen in the pics, FALCO has been part of this family for many years, supporting and mentoring Miriam Cyimpaye in education, spiritual development and psycho social support. From the time she was very little, we've watched her grow and become the unique, humble and well behaved Teen that she is now. Several sponsors and other visitors have visited her home. We were also privileged to contribute to the construction of their new house, supported by her sponsor.

Miriam continues to study and grow into a thriving, responsible and smiling young lady. On a sad note, however, we report the death of her grandfather(in the pic) who, together with his wife, have been her guardians almost all her life. May his soul rest in peace!

Please join us to pray for comfort and strength to Miriam, her grandmother(who is aging and sickly) and the rest of the family. Any support to the family at this critical time will be highly appreciated. We are mobilizing resources so that we visit and support Miriam and her grandmother with personal and household items.

We also want to boost her education by shopping for her essentials like new uniforms, shoes and books. Additionally, since the old Mama is too weak to dig in the gardens, we will also support in getting labor for planting and harvesting this season. Please reach out to us and lets comfort and uphold this family at this critical point.

GOD BLESS YOU!

UPDATE

Greetings our faithful partners and friends

We are deeply grateful for your dedication to build a bright future for our supported children and their families. We regret the long time without updates here, but we'll now resume posting regularly, in addition to reaching out to individual sponsors.

The children are in their 2nd term and we are in the process of following up each of them and getting detailed updates. Here is a short development update of one of the supported children, Blessing Iradukunda:

Blessing was recruited into our program in 2020 at the age of 4. At that time she hadn't started kindergarten because of financial limitations. The Mum was struggling alone to take care of her, having separated with her husband. Thanks to good hearted partners, she's now in Primary 2 and still pushing forward. Also, the Mum reunited with her Dad and they are now living together again as family!

We are excited about that development, because we had been offering marital counseling to the Mum with the aim of bringing about reconciliation so that Blessing gets the privilege of living with both parents. We are glad it has happened!

With your support, we continue to shape the next generation of change makers one child at a time!
